Various subgenres are incorporated into reflections. A saying/proverb (for this genre, see Murphy, 4–6) and command/instruction material may be included (for the former, see 37:1–11; in fact the whole of Ps 37 is an instructional poem; see Craigie, 196). The example story may be used (as in Eccl 9:13–16; note Ps 37:35–38). Ps 73 does not seem to have an example story, unless the entire psalm constitutes one.
